Space for Space Industry and other High Tech Businesses

Technium OpTICDo you have a high tech/innovative business, or are you looking to relocate, up size or down size?  Would you like to benefit from a low risk, supportive environment?

Following the recent graduation of one of OpTIC Technology Centre’s most successful companies, Kent Periscopes (a Gooch and Housego Company), space for high tech businesses is available now.  OpTIC is delighted to have supported the company in their growth.  John Oliver, General Manager said “There’s no doubt the OpTIC Centre has been a fundamental part of the successful growth of our company.  In the past 3 years we’ve grown from under 20 to 50 people, and OpTIC has made it easy to accommodate this expansion.  Its ability to respond quickly to our changing needs is vital to a growing company such as ours.  OpTIC has provided us with the right facilities and services at the right time.  The expertise and equipment on hand has been invaluable – such as optical design, lasers, metrology and a thermal chamber for testing. Also the business support, mentoring and networking made all the difference to us. If you’re a growing technology company, it’s hard to find a facility and support offer like it across the region.  I can’t recommend strongly enough to any business to consider locating yourself at the OpTIC Centre. Let them take care of the factors that can slow a business down and focus your time on the important job of achieving your growth potential.”

The OpTIC Technology Centre, owned by Wrexham Glyndwr University, with its conference centre and café, is the hub of St Asaph Business Park and conveniently located just off junction 26 of the A55. It has a number of 52sqm units available for office/lab use with growth space available.  Dedicated desks and virtual offices also available.  These flexible options at an all-inclusive price are all available immediately and on a month in month out basis.  So just one fee and no long lease agreements or additional variable costs. With additional business network and funding support from the building management team who have strong network links with Welsh Government representatives and all funding bodies including the UK Space Agency to support companies in the Space Industry Sector.  If you are a company developing upstream or downstream technologies, applications using space-data, services or technology in wider space economy, please contact us to discuss how we can help.

Home to high tech businesses as well as Huddersfield University, Swansea University and Glyndŵr Innovations’ Precision Optical Systems and Components group offering design, fabrication and metrology services.  OpTIC is the ideal place to base your business.
